KIT’s international courses, offered in Amsterdam, provide an excellent opportunity for managers and leaders from different countries to exchange experiences and discover new ways of thinking and reflecting on their own systems and organizations. KIT’s courses have been developed in response to needs in the field and are regularly updated to reflect new knowledge and changing conditions. The diverse professional and geographic backgrounds of participants and facilitators favours international exchange and network building. Information about the institution Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle Windesheim is one of the largest of the 55 Universities of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands with approximately 15,000 students. It offers study programmes in 50 different disciplines, which are grouped within the various departments. The emphasis is on student-focused, practice-oriented education. The college philosophy is outward looking and encompasses certain key ethical values such as truth, honesty, kindness and mutual respect. Windesheim is eager to provide international programmes for the benefit of students and lecturers alike. Our objective is to incorporate international elements into all subjects taught at Windesheim, and foreign students are welcome to participate in these international programmes. Some students come to the Netherlands on an exchange scheme. To participate in these international programmes you will have to meet certain academic entry requirements and you must have an adequate command of the English language. In 2004 Windesheim merged with the 'Vrije Universiteit' of Amsterdam. This alliance ensures an ongoing exchange of knowledge and a more complete package of educational opportunities. In the future, Windesheim will not only offer higher professional education degrees but also regular university degrees as well.
