Information about the institution Maastricht University, founded in 1976, is a Dutch university with a strong European and international outlook, where most programmes are taught in English. Maastricht University has gained a world-wide reputation with its unique Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach, generating students who are independent, enterprising problem-solvers. Maastricht University has approximately 12,000 students, of which 37% comes from abroad. The total number of staff is approximately 3500, of which 15% has a foreign nationality. Information about the institution INHOLLAND University of Applied Sciences is an ambitious institution of higher education in the western part of the Netherlands. Its vibrant learning and working community and particularly its scale is ideal for students who are keen to develop their theoretical knowledge as well as their practical skills. Offering competence-based learning, INHOLLAND University of Applied Sciences is professionally involved both with the student, the market and society as a whole. The aim of ITC’s activities is the international exchange of knowledge, focusing on capacity building and institutional development in developing countries and emerging economies. The University of Twente is the only campus university in the Netherlands.
